Students applying to the Paramedic program must meet specific placement requirements and additional certifications.
To be accepted to the program, students must meet the following certification requirements:
- NextGen Reading score of 250 or higher, or equivalent test score or associate’s or bachelor's degree
- MN州(或现居住地)EMT证书
Minnesota state law requires that any person who provides services that involve direct contact with patients and/or residents at a health care facility have a background study conducted by the state.

Minnesota does not participate in the EMS Personnel Licensure Interstate CompACT so at this time we are unable to determine if our programs education requirements meet the licensure requirements in any state besides Minnesota.
While our EMT/EMS/Paramedic programs lead to national certification with the National Registry of 急救医疗技术员s which is a requirement in most states, 每个州都有额外的要求, therefore, we are unable to determine if our program will meet those additional requirements without additional research.
Health care professions are in high demand, and the paramedic profession is no exception. As the field continues to evolve, there is a growing need for skilled and knowledgeable paramedics. 我们的新文凭选择, starting in fall 2023, allows students to take courses during the day and complete the program in as little as 15 months.
